Filter on a Bottle
Sawyer water filters are a perfect solution for rapid disaster response. These versatile filters replace the need to ship in expensive and heavy bottled water. The Sawyer Micro Squeeze and MINI filters weigh 2 ounces and filter up to 100,000 gallons.
The 0.1 micron absolute fibers used in our standard filters exceed EPA and NSF recommendation standards for filtration. The filters can also be routinely backwashed and reused for unmatched levels of filtration and longevity.
Various Ways to Use
The Sawyer Squeeze, Micro Squeeze, and MINI filters all use the standard 28 mm threading found on most plastic bottles around the world, including brands like Pepsi, Smart Water, and many more.
For disaster relief, a filter on a bottle is a much better solution to shipping pallets of water bottles to a disaster site. Not only do recipients get an endless supply of clean water, but we dramatically cut down on plastic that impacts our environment.
When borders begin to open up, many refugees are eager to return to their homelands. Filters on a bottle represent a perfect migratory clean water solution.
The Sawyer Difference
Sawyer is the only company that tests 100% of our filters before leaving our production facility to ensure that each and every filters is fully operational. We are the only hollow fiber filter company that can make this claim and this is one of the reasons why our filters are far superior to other filters available on the market. This level of quality control is part of the reason why our filters cost more than other options on the market but when it comes to long term use and reliability, our performance and quality is unmatchable.
Backwashing with the Cleaning Coupling
In addition to our standard backwashing plunger, you can also backwash some of our filters with a cleaning coupling. This will allow you to backwash all of the pathogens and particulate trapped within your filter fibers by using another bottle with clean water.
